Beth Hopper – Centre Director
Beth Hopper is an experienced Early Childhood Education and Care professional with a passion for fostering children’s individual growth and development. With a career in the industry since 2015, she holds a Diploma qualification and is trained in various areas, including child protection mandatory reporting, legal and practical responses to child abuse, workplace emergency procedures, food safety supervision, and more. Beth has participated in numerous professional development programs such as Circle of Security, Between the Flags, and Creating Environments, which further enhance her ability to support both children and families.
Beth’s journey in the early childhood sector began in roles such as Senior Swim Instructor and Holiday Program Coordinator before transitioning into Early Years Education. Since 2020, she has been an integral part of the Little Charlies team, supporting the organisation in various lead roles before stepping into management. In her current position, Beth is dedicated to creating an environment that encourages the holistic development of each child, while building strong, collaborative relationships with families and the broader community.
As a mother of two young children who are enrolled in the service, Beth draws upon her personal experience and understanding to be a supportive and empathetic network for families, ensuring their needs are met while promoting a nurturing and positive environment for all children. Beth’s commitment to early childhood education is driven by her unwavering belief in the power of early learning to shape a child’s future, and her dedication to making a lasting, positive impact on every child and family she supports.
Beth Schmidt – Assistant Director
Beth Schmidt is a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Education and Care professional who began her career in the industry in 2018. She obtained her Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care in 2020 and is trained in a range of areas, including First Aid and CPR, child protection mandatory reporting, legal and practical responses to child abuse, workplace emergency procedures, and food safety handling. Beth has also engaged in professional development programs such as Circle of Security and Between the Flags, which further enhance her expertise in supporting children’s well-being and development.
Specialising in child development, behavioural management, and curriculum planning, Beth is committed to creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. In her current role as Assistant Manager and Educational Leader, she ensures that each child’s individual needs are met and that strong relationships are built with families, fostering an atmosphere of trust and collaboration.
Beth’s passion for early childhood development drives her to create an environment where every child can reach their full potential. She takes pride in her ability to support both children and families, ensuring that the early learning experience is both nurturing and empowering.
Outside of work, Beth enjoys spending time with her family, painting, reading, and gardening, which allow her to recharge and maintain a well-rounded, balanced approach to both her personal and professional life.
Ready Now Resources
Little Charlie’s Early Learning Centre is supported in its day to day operations by Early Learning Management Consultant Company, Ready Now Resources.
The Managing Director of Ready Now Resources, Louise Thomas, has been in early childhood education for over 33 years, working at all levels of the industry. She holds a Certificate III in Child Care, Associate Diploma in Child Care, a Diploma in Childrens Services, an Advanced Diploma in Community Services (Childcare), and a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment as well as qualifications in Human Resources. Currently, Louise is studying her MBA in Human Resources, majoring in Business Management.
Louise is passionate about instilling high quality practices and all of the services managed by Ready Now Resources have successfully achieved either Meeting or Exceeding the National Quality Standards.
